Electric air heaters
Electrical air heaters are used for heating air or process gasses in pressureless systems. High thermal efficiency is achieved through specific surface load ideally adapted to the operating conditions.
The air heaters with integrated electrical heating elements, flange frame or fastening plate and an electrical connection box are designed and produced individually according to customers’ operating conditions and specifications.
Temperature monitoring to protect the heater and comply with the temperature class is provided by temperature probes and electromechanical or electronic switches or monitoring devices.
Flow monitoring is generally required for safe operation.
Power: 1,0 – 2000kW, voltage up to 690V
Explosion-proof air heaters are manufactured for operation in potentially explosive areas in zone 1 or 2 / category II 2G or 3G in accordance with the ATEX Directive or IECEx in ignition protection type Ex e.
Design variations
Duct air heater
With flange frame as part of the duct to be built into heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
The dimensions can be adjusted to the duct dimensions.
Built-in air heaters
With a fastening flange as a slot-in heating unit for air conditioning and ventilation systems or to heat instrument protection cabinets, furnaces or heating chambers.
Tube air heaters
With flange connections for installation in pipelines.
Compressed air heaters
For an operating pressure above 0.5 bar.
