Electrical heating systems
Power to Heat (PtH)
The ELMESS power-to-heat system enables operators of combined heat and power plants to use a connected heating concept to increase the spread of the potential negative secondary reserve power (SRP) from 50% to 95%.
The ELMESS PtH is characterised by its compact design and ease of installation in the heating network.
Immersion Heaters
Immersion heaters are used to heat liquids, air or gases in tanks and containers or as machine or system components. ELMESS-Thermosystemtechnik provides the most suitable immersion heaters according to the individual requirements of our customers. These are developed and manufactured in high-quality industrial versions and also in explosion-proof versions in accordance with ATEX, IECEx, etc. We therefore guarantee a high degree of reliability, safety and durability for your systems.
Electrical flow heaters
ELMESS flow heaters are used for heating liquids and gaseous media. They are manufactured as an explosion-proof design (ATEX, IECEx, etc.) or a high quality industrial design according to the customer’s specifications. ELMESS offers electrical flow heaters from 0.5kW to several MW and we also have solutions for high temperature applications of up to 1000°C.
Electrical air heaters
Electrical air heaters are used for heating air or process gasses in pressureless systems. High thermal efficiency is achieved through specific surface load ideally adapted to the operating conditions.
Flow monitoring is generally required for safe operation.
Power: 1,0 – 2000kW, voltage up to 690V
Explosion-proof air heaters are manufactured for operation in potentially explosive areas in zone 1 or 2 / category II 2G or 3G in accordance with the ATEX Directive or IECEx in ignition protection type Ex e.
Gas pre-heaters
Safe heat for all gases up to approx. 650°C. For operation in potentially explosive atmospheres or in safe area. For high pressures of up to around 500 bar. Our solution is tailored to your requirements!
