In block type gas heaters (series III), the medium is heated indirectly in a tube coil. The tube coil is cast in an aluminium block together with the electrical heating bundle, which is protected by a sheath made of steel or stainless steel.

The tube coil is the pressure-bearing component and is calculated, produced and documented in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive, ASME or other regulations.
